Introducing Shropshire Together
Shropshire residents can play an active role in maintaining their own local area. This can be with anything from litter picking to helping to maintain hedges and shrubs to prevent encroachment on footpaths, starting or maintaining community gardens and spraying dog fouling with bright paint to deter further incidents.
If you are involved with a group of volunteers or wish to undertake volunteering alone, Shropshire Together can help with the provision of litter picking equipment and will arrange for the collection of bags and green waste. Volunteers are also able to leave waste bags next to a normal bin which will then be collected by Shropshire Council teams.
Residents/groups/schools can contact Deborah Tabone at Shropshire Together for anything regarding volunteering work and for the provision of litter picking equipment or to arrange waste collections.
Email Shropshiretogether@shropshire.gov.uk for assistance.
Please continue to use Fix My Street to report issues within the town.
